1. Data Collection

At CopySync, we value your privacy. When you use our application, we may collect the following information:

  • Email address (for account creation).
  • Clipboard history data (transmitted encrypted solely for synchronization purposes).
  • Device information (device name and type).

2. Data Usage

The collected data is used solely to provide the service (clipboard synchronization). Your data is not shared with or sold to third parties.

3. Data Security

All data transfers are performed encrypted over SSL/TLS (HTTPS). User passwords are stored hashed in our database.

4. Account Deletion

Users have the right to delete their account and all associated data at any time. To do so, please email support@copysync.tr.

5. Android Permissions and Mobile App

Our Android app requests only the permissions required for its core features:

  • Internet: Used for device synchronization and server communication.
  • Boot Completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Used to continue auto-sync after device restart.
  • SMS permissions (RECEIVE_SMS, READ_SMS): Used only when the user enables the "Auto-copy SMS codes" feature.
When the SMS feature is enabled, incoming messages are processed to detect 4-8 digit verification codes only. The detected code may be copied to clipboard and synced to history if configured. SMS content is not collected or sold for advertising or profiling.
